Our curiosity paid off. The food was top tier for taste. I had a Hungarian sausage with German potato salad and German cheesecake. The spice and texture of the sausage was savory as I could imagine without being a true connoisseur. The service staff were legitimately German. My wife had a ham and cheese that was delicious way beyond the fast food joints. The whole experience was just plain worth it.

This place is pretty cool. You walk in and its mainly a deli / grocery store. They sell a variety of different German products. On the left they have their actual deli where you can buy sausages and other types of meats. At the back of the store they have the counter where you can order sandwiches and other foods. I had the German special. 2 sausages, German potato salad, and Sauerkraut. My wife got the Schnitzel and they were both very good. The girl at the counter said their Ruben Sandwich is very good so I will need to try that sometime. I also got a piece of Cappuccino Cake. It had good flavor but to be honest it was a bit dry.
All in all this is a pretty cool addition to Nampa. I would like to get some of their sausages to take home and cook up myself and probably pick up some of their other products. I hope this place does well, I think its a great change from the normal food options we have around. I am really looking forward to going back! -

What a refreshing find in downtown Nampa. Little bit German food market, little bit deli and a little bit sandwich shop. And so far, everything delicious!
A co-worker and I stopped by to pick up lunch. The only option is to order to-go. No dining in. We both got Ruben sandwiches and a side of German potato salad. The sandwich was HUGE! And amazing! Fresh sauerkraut with still a bit of crunch to it. As it fell out of the sandwich I'd just scoop it into the potato salad. Yum!
Their meat cooler/counter had a good variety of cooked sausages, deli meats and cheeses. They also had a few decadent looking desserts. I will be back to try something from there.
I'd recommending ordering your food first (all the way in the back), as it's made fresh and takes several minutes. Then browse/shop the German products while you wait for your order.
Very friendly staff and they had several items out to sample around the shop (cooked sausages, a couple of cookies, and sliced pieces of a fresh cooked German meatloaf).
For good and authentic German food items you've got to check this place out! -

We absolutely love our German experience in this very clean store! The owners were so friendly, providing a great atmosphere. Lots of assortment of meats, sausages, cheeses, desserts and lots of ready made food. Throughout the store you will find a different assortment of German packaged food including sauerkraut, sauces, gravy and candy. Also homemade traditional German bread that's out of this world and be sure to check here for the Holidays for special homemade breads!

This was a lovely experience. We're all a little bit German and thought it would be fun to taste some authentic German food. We were greeted with warmth and educated/tasted 4 different sausages and naturally sweetened sodas. There is a lovely selection if German and other European foods. I highly recommend checking this sweet place out!
